Germany - Bielefeld to Cologne

Cologne Cathedral has a modern bronze altar that was created from 1960 to 1971. The seats and stalls of the Choir are behind the altar and they date back to somewhere between 1308 and 1311. They have seats reserved for the Emperor and for the Pope.
